I'll be honest, friend: This isn't the email I wanted to send today.
Yesterday, we fell short of our $300,000 Giving Tuesday goal.Â
We knew when we announced it that $300,000 was an ambitious goal, but that’s what it will take to take on the gun lobby — and win — in 2025, especially with the return of a Trump administration that could roll back years of progress on gun safety.
Falling short of our goal, even with the triple-match offer, means we’re now facing some tough decisions about the resources we’ll have in the critical months ahead.
But then, our generous donors reached out and offered to EXTEND the triple-match opportunity one more day to help us meet our goal, and we knew we had the second chance we needed.
Now, it's all on you, friend. We're counting on folks like you to rise to the occasion and help us finally reach our goal. So please, rush $5 — or whatever you can spare — to have it TRIPLED. We need every resource possible to pass life-saving gun safety legislation and protect our communities in the year ahead.
