As we close the books on another Giving Tuesday, I am in awe of the incredible outpouring of generosity from Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)’s global movement of supporters.
Through the support of our compassionate donor community, we can continue to respond with lifesaving medical care in the world’s most urgent crises. Yet the need remains immense, and every dollar powers our work providing a lifeline for people around the world.
If you missed the opportunity to give to our Giving Tuesday match, it's not too late to make a meaningful gift to power this vital work.

Over the past year, we have seen the escalation of multiple ongoing conflicts and humanitarian crises. Yet the unwavering support from MSF’s global movement gives me hope—hope that we can keep making a difference, providing care to those in need, and saving lives. In 2024, this movement made it possible for MSF to go where the medical needs were the greatest:
-
As the war in Gaza intensified, your generosity allowed our teams at Nasser hospital to respond to mass casualty events while also performing 25 to 30 deliveries a day in the maternity wards.
-
As attacks on civilians, health workers, and medical facilities continued in Sudan, this global community enabled MSF to treat 21,316 children for malnutrition.
-
As public health care facilities in Afghanistan struggled to cover essential costs, this community powered our neonatal and pediatric intensive care units in Mazar-i-Sharif Regional Hospital. Each month, we admit an average of 3,000 critically ill children to the pediatric emergency room and 546 newborns to the neonatal intensive care unit.
Your compassion, commitment, and generosity continue to drive our lifesaving work.
As we approach the end of the year, please consider making a gift to power MSF’s critical work in Gaza, Sudan, Afghanistan, and in over 70 countries around the world.
From all of us at MSF—thank you for powering our work today and into the future.
Warmly, |
