Dear PFAW Member,
In the midst of a global public health crisis, Mitch McConnell and Donald
Trump are trying to rush the confirmation of Cory Wilson -- an extremist
judge who opposes the Affordable Care Act -- to a lifetime appointment on
the powerful Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Wilson is just the latest unqualified and dangerous nomination Donald
Trump and Mitch McConnell have rushed to confirmation. In Mississippi,
Wilson was a state politico and worked overtime to threaten voting rights
and the right of all Americans to access affordable health care. He's on
record saying absolutely despicable things about the Affordable Care Act,
deriding the legislation as "illegitimate" and "perverse." We should take
him at his word when he says he "hopes the Court strikes down the law."
The latest challenge to the ACA that is in the Supreme Court came out of
the Fifth Circuit, where Wilson is nominated to sit. We CANNOT let this
right-wing extremist be seated on the court!
