Some guys never learn, and it seems I may be one of them. Seeking to protect my sanity, I've cut down my cable news watching significantly.  That's because I rarely learn anything, and the presentations are largely dull unless I'm on, of course.   But there I am the other night watching James Carville on MSNBC. Why? Because the Islander game hadn't started yet.  The octogenarian is still a lively presence with a lack of self-awareness that is absolutely startling.
