John, did you catch yesterday’s email from Luxton? I really didn’t want you to miss it…

Following his community call-out, we’ve had an incredible response to our Wave of Action Winter Appeal. In just 24 hours, hundreds of you have already donated.

Will you join our Wave of Action and donate today? Every £ raised is critical in fuelling the fight to protect the waters we love in 2025.

Yes, I'll give £35 - doubled to £70 [[link removed]] Yes, I'll give another amount [[link removed]]

In my 14 years campaigning with Surfers Against Sewage, I’ve never stopped believing in the power of people vs polluters. That’s why this Winter our appeal is all about making your campaigns, protests and demands louder than ever, to win the change this community needs.

Read on below to find out why this winter, we urgently need your help…

John, ready to take this fight to the next level?

2025 is going to be an absolutely crucial year for cleaning up the UK’s waters. With new laws to reform the water sector finally on the table, we really need to make sure they actually deliver.

Polluters are doing everything they can to derail our progress - dodgy cover-ups and underhand tactics means sewage and plastics continue to flow freely.

John, it’s time to deploy our secret weapon: THIS incredible community! Today we’re launching a WAVE OF ACTION to get ready for our biggest year yet - bigger campaigns, louder stunts, tactics water companies won’t see coming - but we urgently need your help to fund this fight.

For the next 7 days only we have a HUGE opportunity for every single donation to be immediately doubled, giving us the boost we desperately need heading into the new year.

John, every pound raised up to £55,000 will be matched by the Big Give until 12pm 10th December. Will you join us and be part of this wave of change?

Your donation could power louder stunts so the government can’t ignore us. It could fund bigger exposés of water companies’ dodgy dealings. It could make sure we’re even ready to take the worst offenders to court if we need to, so they really have to clean up their act.

Every pound you donate will help power a Wave of Action to show we’re NOT backing down.

Everyday I’m inspired by local activists like you who are using your voice to stand up for the waters you love. You’ve proven that small actions really do add up to BIG change.

So John, please will you help get our Big Give appeal off to the best possible start and donate whatever you can today?

Our rivers, lakes and oceans - they mean something personal to us all, and the last week has shown that they’re more vulnerable than ever before.

If you donate today, [[link removed]] we can continue to pile on the pressure together and make sure our waters are cleaned up (and kept clean) once and for all.

Thank you for joining our Wave of Action - we really can’t do it without you. 🌊
