Urgent appeal: Your gift today could help look after this fragile orphan, Blue

Hello John,

It’s International Cheetah Day and the perfect time to celebrate this beautiful, elegant species – the quickest of all cats. But, like you, we believe every single cheetah is precious. Which is why we need your help today, to look after little Blue.

She was found, critically injured, on a roadside in Ethiopia. Just months old, she’d been hit by a car, was covered in cuts and had a badly broken leg. There was no sign of mum and, tragically, her sister lay dead beside her.

Your gift today could help look after Blue.

PLEASE HELP BLUE

A race against time

It was an emergency and we had to help. So, we drove for four days to bring the terrified cub to the safety of our wildlife centre, near capital Addis Ababa. Could we save her life? Would her leg need amputating?

Since then, we’ve done everything we can to save Blue and help her heal. Your donation today could give the urgent care she needs:

✔️ Vet treatment & medicines
✔️ Round-the-clock loving care
✔️ Good food (she loves chicken!)
✔️ Health-enhancing vitamins

DONATE NOW

Cheetahs are such a sensitive species and it’s hard not to worry about Blue all the time. We think we’ve done enough to save her limb, but we are still on red alert and our 24/7 care continues.

In Ethiopia, Born Free is the only hope for cheetahs who have been injured, orphaned or confiscated from the cruel illegal pet trade. But, this life-saving work is only possible with your help. Your donation today would be the perfect way to celebrate International Cheetah Day and show how much you care.

GIVE A GIFT TODAY

Blue has been through so much. Her story is heartbreaking. But, you could help transform her life.

Your gift today could help guarantee the loving, expert care she deserves, and help look after our precious family of rescued cheetahs.

With our very best wishes,

From your cheetah-loving friends at Born Free
