ACLU Supporter, with the clock running out soon on Giving Tuesday, I wanted to reach out one last time.

I've been with the ACLU for a while – nearly 23 years. In that time, I've seen presidential administrations come and go and the landscape of our civil liberties change dramatically. However, one thing has endured: The ACLU's commitment to showing up wherever our most fundamental freedoms are on the line.

2024 has been a historic year in our fight for civil liberties:

* Tomorrow our attorney, Chase Strangio, is heading to the Supreme Court to defend the right of transgender youth to access gender-affirming care.

* Ahead of the election, we litigated more than two dozen voter suppression cases in states across the country, helping ensure that every single person could vote and have their vote counted.

* In June, our legal team joined with coalition partners to successfully defend access to mifepristone, a safe and lifesaving abortion medication, at the Supreme Court.

* Our on-the-ground organizers partnered with coalition members to pass reproductive freedom ballot initiatives in states like Arizona, Missouri, and Nevada – enshrining abortion access in state constitutions.
