first, dropping a lawsuit against Trump University after a
questionable donation, backing his false election fraud claims, and
serving as his impeachment lawyer. As head of the far-right America
First Policy Institute, she’s a key player in Trump’s agenda to
consolidate power and weaponize federal agencies.
* Kash Patel as FBI Director: Kash Patel’s nomination is especially
troubling given his strong loyalty to Trump, making him a highly
partisan choice for a role that is meant to remain impartial and free
from political influence. Even Trump’s former AG Bill Barr objected to
his nomination to a leadership role at the FBI in the first Trump
administration, with Barr telling former White House Chief of Staff
Mark Meadows, “over my dead body.”
* Linda McMahon as Education Secretary: McMahon is a former World
Wrestling Entertainment CEO whose nomination aligns with Project
2025’s goal to dismantle the Department of Education, stripping
federal oversight of civil rights protections in schools, slashing
funding for public schools, and paving the way for privatization
schemes that would devastate educational equity nationwide.
