The conflict-induced humanitarian suffering in Gaza is catastrophic, with every person in Gaza now in need of humanitarian assistance. More than two million Palestinians—half of them children—are living without access to sufficient water, food and medical care.

As children and families struggle to prepare for winter, the IRC is planning on providing warm clothes—as part of our women's empowerment and child protection programming—to help families stay safe and warm through the harsh months ahead.
We are also providing emergency and lifesaving medical care with our partners, including direct medical care at hospitals. Working within Gaza's few remaining operational hospitals, IRC emergency medical teams are delivering emergency surgical care and other health services to children, women and men.

I'm incredibly proud to work alongside dedicated IRC staff members. Our teams are working tirelessly to get emergency supplies to people in need. They are doing everything they can to ensure families in crisis are able to survive, recover and rebuild their lives.
