Hi John,

I’m proud to announce that Maryland has been named the top state in the country for minority-owned small businesses.

Thanks to programs we’ve established, like the Small, Minority, and Women-Owned Business Account, we’ve supported over 170 businesses and nearly 2,600 jobs.

This is only the beginning, John. To continue making this Maryland’s decade, we’re continuing to fight for economic growth all across the state.

We’re about to hit a significant challenge, however — a fundraising freeze that begins in January.  This means that we are relying solely on the money that we can raise between now and January 10th to power our work, and we need to raise as much as possible.
