He did it again. Dr. f’ing Oz is likely in his cabinet, and he did it again. This one takes the cake. This is the stupidest, most backwards, unbelievably out of touch selection he has made. No, we’re not talking about known security threat Tulsi Gabbard for National Intelligence. We’re talking about Kash Patel for FBI Director.

This is an insane pick. Kash Patel has been a danger to this country for years. John Bolton, Trump’s former National Security Advisor, compared Kash to a Soviet secret police leader. Bill Barr, Trump’s former Attorney General, said he’d let Trump appoint Kash to the number two spot in the FBI “over my dead body,” saying he had “virtually no experience” and that the very idea showed a “shocking detachment from reality.” We couldn’t agree more.

But seriously, if MTG and Matt Gaetz had a love child, this would be him. His top priority? Prosecuting journalists who speak out against Trump. He has been saying for years now that the press (and Italian satellites) are responsible for “rigging” the 2020 election and that the government needs to take legal action against journalists who… didn’t buy into a conspiracy theory that came with zero evidence?

And speaking of conspiracy theories, Kash doesn’t just believe in ones that Trump asks him to believe in. He actually dabbles in what we consider to be one of the most dangerous conspiracy theory networks on the planet. Yes, we’re talking about QAnon. You know, the insane theories that have been debunked like 10,000 times, but people still believe in for some reason. Also the ones responsible for multiple fatalities over their seven year existence. Kash doesn’t just believe in QAnon, he amplifies it like crazy. Whether it’s on a right wing podcast or Trump’s knockoff Twitter (and by the way, Kash is on the board of it), this dude is always promoting Q. 

We can’t even really express how dangerous this is. He has no experience. He’s a conspiracy theorist. He wasn’t even good enough for Trump’s first cabinet. This has to stop. Just like with Matt Gaetz, we need to take this guy down. We need to make sure that he isn’t running the FBI. We need to make sure that America survives for these next four years.
