Don't miss out on your chance to have twice the impact for our forests. Donate before midnight.

Here's just a snippet of our plans to shield our forests from logging:

Keep the boreal forest standing: Every minute, logging cuts down 1.5 football fields of boreal trees. These trees are likely destined to be sliced into decks and cabinetry, or flushed down the drain as toilet paper. We're calling on major companies -- including Home Depot, Costco and Procter & Gamble -- to make sure their wood-based products don't come from boreal trees.1 Donate >>

Save our old-growth and mature forests from logging projects: Some of America's oldest trees are on the chopping block, including trees in the Tongass National Forest. We're calling on the Forest Service to stop the most egregious logging projects targeting our oldest trees on national forest land. It's not too late to change these projects and save these trees. Donate >>

Stop bad forest bills in Congress: To stop anti-forest bills from passing at the federal level, we're lobbying key members of Congress and activating our network of forest defenders like you. Attempts to "fix" our forests by fast-tracking more logging are gaining traction, but we can stop them. Donate >>

End tropical deforestation: Just last year, the world lost 9 million acres of tropical forest. The industries destroying the rainforests -- primarily for soy, beef, palm oil and wood products -- are financially supported by banks. We're calling on Bank of America to stop financing deforestation.2 Donate >>

Your support will go directly toward defending nature. From towering trees to endangered animals, Environment Colorado is your advocate for restoring our natural world.

Stand up for trees everywhere this Giving Tuesday. Donate before midnight and your gift will be matched, up to $40,000 nationwide.

Thank you,

Ellen Montgomery

P.S. If you've already donated this Giving Tuesday, thank you! We may still be processing your gift.

None of our work would be possible without supporters like you. Environment Colorado may transfer up to $50 per dues-paying member per year into the Environment Colorado Small Donor Committee.
