Call your senators now to demand $3.6 billion in election assistance funding.

Last week, you heard from me about the House’s plan to pass a COVID-19 relief package that includes $3.6 billion in election assistance funding for states.

Well, thanks to activists like you leading the way, we got our bill. In addition to being a step in the right direction in terms of economic relief, the bill the House passed on Friday includes the $3.6 billion in funding for election assistance we desperately need to make sure voters can safely cast a ballot in November.

But none of this will become a reality if it doesn’t pass the Senate.

We must make sure that the Senate takes the House’s lead and passes $3.6 billion in election assistance funding. Click here to make a call to your senators now.

Election assistance funding would allow states to expand vote-by-mail options and early voting. We need these reforms to make sure that no one is forced to choose between their health and making their voice heard on November 3rd.

I know I can count on you in the fight to make our democracy stronger and more inclusive in the face of this pandemic. Make a call to the Senate now:
