Celebrate #GivingTuesday with CDT
([link removed])
#GivingTuesday is here!
CDT is fighting daily to ensure technology works for people -- promoting responsible innovation that protects people's rights. In the U.S., EU and globally, we're advising policymakers, developing company best practices, and helping the press and public understand the human values at stake in technology policy and design. CDT's accomplishments in 2024 include:
* Shaping state laws on issues including privacy, AI, kids online safety, social media regulation, election integrity policy, and more;
* Spearheading a working group to combat nonconsensual intimate imagery composed of companies and groups representing impacted communities;
* Leading civil society engagement in the EU on the Digital Services Act and AI Act; and
* Launching a series of reports on large language models in Maghrebi Arabic, Kiswahili, and other non-English contexts.
Individual donors are crucial ([link removed])
to CDT's growth as we anticipate new challenges that will require new resources. We are proud that over 50% of our funds come from foundations, yet our sustained growth will depend on individuals like you. Will you join this international day of giving and
contribute to CDT today ([link removed])?
With any amount that is meaningful to you, we can accelerate our efforts to put democracy and human rights at the center of the digital age.
Sincerely,
Alexandra Reeve Givens
