Grizzly bears are making a historic comeback in the lower 48 states – helped along by our fierce litigation to maintain their Endangered Species Act protections and defend them from hunting, trapping, habitat fragmentation, and other manmade threats.

Right now, that recovery is under threat.

Grizzly bears, bull trout, and other wildlife in America face challenging times.

The first Trump administration tried to remove Endangered Species Act protections from the Yellowstone-region grizzly population, opening it up to trophy hunting.

Earthjustice sued and won back the bears’ federal protections, stopping a trophy hunt mere hours before it was to start. Now, under pressure from hostile state politicians, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service is considering removing Endangered Species Act protections for grizzly bears yet again. But we’ve been here before and we won’t back down.

As the second Trump administration comes into power, there will be even more threats to endangered species by an administration bent on enriching corporations at the expense of our environment. We need your support to fight back.
