Hello friend,
This GivingTuesday, we’re calling on you to join in our fight for justice at a time when the stakes couldn’t be higher.
The post-election climate is sobering. A second Trump presidency threatens to entrench harsh policies around policing, incarceration, and surveillance—policies that harm the very communities we stand with every day.
But here’s the thing: we’ve faced tough battles before—and we’ve won.
At Campaign Zero, we’ve passed more laws, reshaped more policies around policing and mass incarceration than any activist organization in a generation, built impactful data tools, and forged strong connections with communities nationwide. Now, our work is under direct threat—not just from harmful policing policies but from legislation like HR 9495, known as the “nonprofit killer,” that threatens nonprofits like ours.

And more ([link removed])

This GivingTuesday, your support is more than a donation—it’s a lifeline for justice.
Our data-driven campaigns, such as:
• Mapping Police Violence ([link removed])
• 8 Can’t Wait ([link removed])
• Cancel ShotSpotter ([link removed])
… and advocacy campaigns like Free Keith Davis Jr. ([link removed]) (who, after his release from prison due in part to Campaign Zero’s advocacy, voted in his first U.S. presidential election this November) have achieved meaningful change.
In 2024, we’ve:
• Partnered with WIN Shelter to host a back-to-school block party ([link removed])
• Supported the Michael O.D. Brown Foundation to fund scholarships ([link removed])
• Won Gold at the 2024 Anthem Awards for our campaigns:
• Rikers in Crisis ([link removed])
• Cancel ShotSpotter ([link removed])
• Free Keith Davis Jr. ([link removed])
• Hosted “Friendraisers” nationwide, including social justice film screenings to foster restorative connections
• Witnessed our work as the subject of a Hulu documentary, Making of an Activist ([link removed])
… and more ([link removed])
The next four years could roll back our progress while cementing systemic harm—or they could mark a turning point. Let’s make GivingTuesday the start of something transformative—together.
In the coming weeks, you’ll hear more from us as we strategize for the road ahead and share ways to engage in this fight. Until then, visit ([link removed]) to learn more about how we work toward our mission daily. Consider donating this GivingTuesday to continue the work toward justice.
Together, we’ll push forward with determination and build a future rooted in justice.
We will win.
