At the American Values Coalition, we are dedicated to bridging divides, fostering understanding, and protecting the democratic values that unite us. And we need your help to continue this critical work!

Through key initiatives like the J29 Coalition, Mending Division Academy, and Pastor Conferences, we are making real progress toward these goals:

• J29 Coalition: This network equips faith leaders to address political polarization in their communities with courage and compassion. We empower pastors and local churches to lead with humility and unity by fostering conversations rooted in shared values.

• Mending Division Academy: Our unique on-demand training program provides practical tools for faith communities to navigate difficult conversations, cultivate empathy, and build stronger, more connected relationships.

• Pastor Conferences: In 2024, we held pastor conferences in Phoenix, Orlando, Atlanta, and Wheaton. We hosted hundreds of pastors in these regional gatherings and equipped them to withstand political division in their churches and communities while giving them tools to depolarize their congregations. You can see several talks from these conferences on our YouTube channel.

These programs are more than initiatives—they are lifelines for communities seeking healing and renewal. This year, we’ve seen remarkable transformations as pastors and faith leaders courageously step into the work of depolarizing their communities. We’ve also partnered with congregations committed to bridging divides and strengthening their commitment to democracy.

But this is just the beginning. As we look ahead to 2025, our vision is ambitious: We will continue to organize regional gatherings for pastors and ministry leaders to learn the tools of depolarization while launching our second J29 Cohort for pastors nationwide. To do this, we need to welcome 30 new monthly donors to the American Values Coalition family on Giving Tuesday.

This will enable us to expand the reach of the J29 Coalition while empowering more leaders to engage with grace and integrity through our regional training programs.
