Dear John,
Like you, I’m still working to make sense of the election results and plan for what’s next. We have plenty of information to go on - from Project 2025 to campaign trail promises to cabinet picks - to know that whatever is coming will be hard. In the face of uncertainty and imminent attacks on people we love and organizations we respect, the unifying call to action has been: “Join a group and organize!”
If you’re ready to answer that call this Giving Tuesday, support our organizing with a donation.

Organizing is how I make sense of the world. By building relationships and connecting across our differences, we figure out what’s next – together. We commit to each other and to the challenging, daunting work of building a better future. We build power together in a shared organization that is a force for change in elections and policy making.
At TakeAction, we take seriously the work of building relationships for action and a powerful organization to hold them. That means we have organizers, offices, communications infrastructure, partnerships, trainings, and canvassers across Minnesota organizing with people like you. We do research and make plans that are bold, creative, strategic, and winning.
Organizing is choosing to act and build with others in the face of uncertainty. Today, I’m asking you to act by donating to power our work in 2025.

We are up against the richest people on the planet. They use their money to build vast networks of businesses, organizations, communications, and tech infrastructure to lock in their wealth and their power. We use money to go up against them and, here in Minnesota, we win.
At the end of November Duluth Tenants officially launched and this month Twin Cities United Performers will be announcing their inaugural campaign. TakeAction members across the state are making plans to show up powerfully in important school board and city elections in 2025. As we continue to make progress, we will defend the gains we have already made and stand with our neighbors if they come under attack.
If you want to get plugged into our work, reply to this email and an organizer will follow-up.
In solidarity,
Elianne Farhat (she/her)
Co-Executive Director
