With your support, we’ve made some important strides this year. We monitored and exposed emboldened far-right extremists while helping communities prevent youth radicalization. We filed a lawsuit challenging Georgia’s extreme classroom censorship policy after fifth-grade public school teacher, Katie Rinderle, was fired for reading to her class My Shadow is Purple, an age-appropriate picture book about self-acceptance and navigating gender stereotypes. We prevented Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen from purging over 3,000 voters from active rolls less than 90 days before the election, which would have violated the National Voter Registration Act. And with the help of our legal partners, we also succeeded in stopping the Georgia State Election Board from enacting several new restrictive rules, such as mandatory hand-counting of ballots on election night.
Your support helps lead the charge towards an inclusive society where hate and extremism are no longer. In this pivotal moment, we must stand strong together and continue the march for justice. Today, on Giving Tuesday, every dollar you give will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $1 million! Your tax-deductible gift will turn $50 into $100, $250 into $500 and so on, doubling your impact. Please make your contribution before the night ends.
