John,
Here’s the latest news from the People’s Party of Canada.
BY-ELECTION IN CLOVERDALE-LANGLEY CITY
A by-election will take place on December 16 in the BC riding of Cloverdale-Langley City, where the PPC is represented by Ian Kennedy!
Ian was our candidate there in the 2019 and 2021 general elections. He is a supervisor of a store in an industrial setting, helping people from different walks of life.
We want to recognize Ian for continuously stepping up and presenting the PPC values, to give Canadians a real option in this by-election. He will be continuing his efforts through to the next general election.
Maxime visited the riding last Sunday and went door-knocking with Ian and his team. There was also a Meet & Greet with all the local supporters.
Ian needs your support! Please follow him on Twitter at @IanKennedyPPC <[link removed]> andcheck his page on our website <[link removed]>.
A FANTASTIC PPC TEAM IN VANCOUVER!
My HQ colleagues and I would like to acknowledge and express our sincere appreciation to Lillian, the secretary of the Greater Vancouver Regional PPC association, for her invaluable contributions and continued dedication to the PPC team in this area, especially in the lead-up and preparation of the by-election in Cloverdale-Langley City.
Her dedication to effective communication, meticulous planning with the PPC National Office and seamless execution of tasks has been instrumental in our team's overall success.
The Greater Vancouver Regional Association's team efforts have significantly enhanced our party and its organizational capacity.
The Meet & Greet they organized in Langley last Sunday for Ian and Max was a great success, with about 60 participants!

DECEMBER IS A CRUCIAL MONTH FOR THE PPC!
December is the month of giving – and that’s also the case for an organization like the PPC that can only exist thanks to your donation.
December is a crucial month for us. It’s the month when we typically raise the most throughout the year, as we do a final blitz before the cutoff date of January 1st, when the maximum amount you can give every year is reset.
Our goal for this month is to raise $300,000 dollars.
It is particularly important that we reach this goal because for the first time in the party’s history, we will end the year with a deficit instead of a surplus. Because of inflation and the difficult financial situation in which many Canadians find themselves, our revenues are down. At the same time, our national conference held last summer, the first one we’ve held in five years, cost almost $300,000.
Everything is getting more expensive, and as you know, we don’t get any subsidies from the government to fund our operations.
All our revenues come from generous donors like you who want PPC principles and policies to have a greater influence on our political debates.
If you can afford to donate the maximum annual amount of $1725 to help reduce our expected deficit and help us be better financially prepared for the election next year, I strongly encourage you to do so before December 31st. Max, the whole PPC team and I would be extremely grateful!

PPC CHRISTMAS CARDS
Maxime and Catherine usually send their Christmas cards at this time of the year to all PPC members and donors.
Unfortunately, due to the strike at Canada Post, we haven’t been able to mail them yet. But they are ready to go, although they may arrive a little bit late this year!
Merry Christmas and see you again in the New Year!
