Dear Friend,

Harper’s tiny body was limp with sickness when she arrived at the PAWS Chicago Medical Center. Diagnosed with parvovirus, a deadly and contagious illness, she would have certainly been euthanized at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC), the city pound—but not here. Dogs who are symptomatic for parvo can’t be quarantined at CACC and, due to the high risk of fatal outbreak, need to be transferred or euthanized. We built one of the most advanced homeless pet hospitals in the country for cases just like hers.

IT’S GIVING TUESDAY, the most important day of the year for homeless pets like Harper. Your gift today supports the lifesaving work our medical team performs every day.

Giving Tuesday is your chance to save a life.

Please give today and take advantage of a $20,000 Giving Tuesday Match provided by animal advocate Nancy Aversa and our friends at the Robert and Mayari Pritzker Family Foundation.

Safe in our arms, Harper received an innovative new treatment that cut down her intensive care time from weeks to mere days. Treatments like this are only possible because of our generous PAWS community.

Looking at Harper’s bright eyes and non-stop wagging tail today, you’d never know she was sick. The only reason she’s alive is because of you.

Harper was one of the lucky ones, but thousands more need us.

That’s why we created the Chicago Animal Crisis Fund. It supports the PAWS Chicago’s advanced medical care and life-saving surgeries, giving these vulnerable animals a fighting chance.

Your support today helps us capture every dollar of the $20,000 Giving Tuesday Match.
