You’ve probably heard about the ancient redwoods here—some of them are nearly 1,000 years old!

Well, that’s not me. I’m just a tiny seedling. It’s wonderful to look up and aspire to grow up to be one of the next towering old-growth redwoods. This is what makes Sonoma Coast Redwoods so special!

The age diversity (from young to ancient) of this forest means it’s set to FLOURISH in the decades to come. Every ancient redwood started as a seedling like me… so, like them, I’ll keep growing and growing. That is, if friends like you can help the League protect Sonoma Coast Redwoods.

Plenty of people want to build private estates along the coast. I can’t blame them—it’s beautiful here! But development would be disastrous for the seedlings, trees, and wildlife that call this place home. Not to mention, I’d love to be visited one day by forest lovers like you on an expanded trail extension, instead of a few landowners.
