Food Lifeline provides meals for more than 1.3 million people each year.
John,
As a people-powered grassroots campaign, mutual aid is a critical part of how we strengthen our movement and our communities. And with costs soaring higher than ever, more and more people need the help to make ends meet.
That’s why today, on Giving Tuesday, we’re asking you to pitch in to support Food Lifeline’s mission to end hunger in Washington.

Access to food is a basic human right, and nobody should go hungry. Yet every day, millions throughout Washington and the country experience food insecurity.
Food Lifeline helps by providing meals to thousands of people in Western Washington each day. With a network of over 350 food banks, shelters, and meal programs, they are able to provide an equivalent of more than 282,000 meals per day. And in total, they provide meals for more than 1.3 million people each year.
But that’s just one part of their work. Through advocacy and on-the-ground organizing, they also work to shape local, state, and federal policy by partnering with community-based programs and services.
