Friend,

We’ve had the Department of Education for 40 years. Our students’ test scores are WORSE than before the DOE was created. 

If the Department of Education were gone tomorrow, it would NOT affect education. If anything, it would HELP education because locals would have more control over their schools.

Friend, the best path forward to tackle this issue is with Republicans in Congress coming together to create a rescission package. This would cut the billions (maybe even trillions) of dollars previously allocated to the Department of Education. We would only need a simple majority to get this legislation passed, saving our nation large sums of money while providing local and state officials with more control over schools. 

I’m going to do everything I can to work with President Trump, Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, and DOGE to make this a reality.
