Dear Friend,
Season’s greetings!
I am Morgan Hunter, a 2023 graduate of Tougaloo College, MS. Did you know that the challenges students like me face do not end with graduation? New graduates face serious challenges as we try to get a job. And, without financial help, these challenges could derail our fledgling careers. Even with a degree in hand, it costs money to get a job—to prepare for interviews, relocate to a new city if necessary and get professional certification.
UNCF stands in the gap for new graduates like me. Please, don’t wait to make your Giving Tuesday gift to UNCF. Your support makes the difference for students—and new graduates!

I have always wanted to be a teacher, and after graduation, I got a job in NJ. To take the offer, I needed funds to relocate from AL, to get situated in an apartment and to invest in test prep for my teaching certification. A UNCF Building Better Futures Grant award provided the funds I desperately needed to cover the costs. Now I am a certified fifth grade ELA teacher in a K-12 charter school in NJ. For all that has been done for me, I will pay it forward.
Your gift to UNCF helps students get through college and helps us open the doors to our careers. Your gift changes things. Your gift makes a difference.
Your gift matters. If you can, in any amount you can afford, please make a tax-deductible gift to help another student like me get through college and enter a career.
Thank you for all you do.
