John, a few sewing machines and some fabric are going a long way toward combating the spread of COVID-19 in Mozambique.
Using equipment originally intended for our skills-building and business development program for teens, Save the Children teams in Mozambique began local production of protective cloth face masks for people across the country.
They expect to make an incredible total of 24,000 masks – including ones that are specially sized for children. There's no question that their efforts will save countless lives and make communities safer and healthier for the vulnerable children who live there.
This is only a small glimpse of the around-the-clock response work supporters like you make possible on the ground in Mozambique and around the world.
