This Giving Tuesday, Please Support The FACT Coalition's Work to Protect Democracy, Rid the U.S. of Dirty Money, and End Wasteful Corporate Tax Breaks
John,
The year may not be over, but it's been a busy one for the 100+ members of the Financial Accountability and Corporate Transparency (FACT) Coalition.
From fighting to achieve long-awaited anti-money laundering victories, to continuing to defend the landmark Corporate Transparency Act from legal challenges, FACT has been at the forefront of the fight against dirty money in 2024. With unprecedented tax negotiations expected in 2025, we've been laying the groundwork necessary to make sure that wasteful tax breaks for major multinationals engaged in the offshoring of profits and U.S. jobs are on the chopping block. We successfully worked with our global allies to help ensure the passage of world-leading corporate tax transparency legislation in Australia that will result in groundbreaking disclosures from as many as half of all large U.S. multinationals. And we've grown our work at the intersection of U.S. financial secrecy and environmental crimes, producing widely-covered reports, briefs, and other resources to inform policymakers and civil society.
All of these victories are possible because FACT remains independent, non-partisan, and focused on our mission of combating illicit finance and unfair tax systems.
This Giving Tuesday, we hope you'll support that mission. All donations will go directly to financing the work of FACT's amazing team of anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, and tax experts.
Thank you so much for your time, your support, and your continued interest in FACT's work.
