A Victory on Restraining Military Spending: The U.S. Congress has decided not to include massive weapons funding requested by the Pentagon in a COVID-19 bailout bill -- something that World BEYOND War and allies had opposed. A Politico newsletter (sponsored by military contractor Northrup Grumman) called it "a major victory" for antiwar advocacy groups. We have a long way still to go.
