What's even worse, Donald Trump admitted he would be open to accepting dirt on a Democratic opponent from a foreign entity.

An American president must respect our democracy and protect the integrity of our elections. Joe Biden has spent his career fighting to keep Americans safe and to strengthen our democracy.

He even signed a pledge, one that he helped to develop back before he was a candidate for president, that he will NOT accept information from foreign agents to use against opponents or use misinformation of any kind.

We're doing everything we can to ensure a safeguarded election, but the threat is real -- especially with what we saw in 2016.
