Programs that create pipelines for tomorrow's possibility models
This GIVING TUESDAY, your organization can help LGBTQ+ Victory Institute surpass our $250,000 goal by the end of the day!
John,
As we celebrate 40 years of leadership development, trainings and convenings, we are still working tirelessly to build and support a diverse pipeline of LGBTQ+ leaders who can create change in the halls of power. From our Leadership Summits to Candidate and Campaign Trainings, to our Victory Congressional Interns to Victory Empowerment Fellows, we're training the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders and creating lasting representation at all levels of government.
Because of your active commitment to an equitable future of work , global pipeline programs, belief in corporate allyship, and the power of our shared platforms to uplift democracy — we are watching the power of partnership fuel careers and forge new pathways for institutions, policymakers, and civil society.
And it's not just happening in theory...we are watching it in practice. LGBTQ+ Victory Institute worked with Danica Roem to brush up on her campaign skills during Victory Institute's Candidate & Campaign Training prior to her run for Virginia State Delegate. She successfully won her election, becoming the first out and seated trans state legislator ever elected in the United States. Now-State Senator Roem is not only making legislative improvements, a poll showed she is also changing hearts and minds; with 12% of voters reporting they view transgender people more positively because of Danica. And that doesn’t just include pro-equality voters, but some socially conservative voters as well.
Thank you for being a champion for representation by to continuing to show up and support this work. We invite your company or foundation to make an end-of-year tax-deductible donation today and help us meet, and exceed, our $250,000 goal [[link removed]] . Together, we can train even more leaders to run for office and create transformative partnerships that fuel global pipelines and give us the representation we deserve.
With gratitude,
Mel Harris
