"My first step towards healing from abortion was to tell my story. And that is why I’m so excited to launch myLIFEstory, to give women an empathetic and non-judgmental forum to tell their story." —Catherine Glenn Foster, President & CEO at Americans United for Life

Americans United for Life Launches #myLIFEstory to Hear from Post-Abortive Women ([link removed][UNIQID])
(Americans United for Life) “My abortion changed my life forever,” said Catherine Glenn Foster, President & CEO of Americans United for Life. “For so many years I could count on one hand the number of people I had even told about this tragically formative experience. As a post-abortive parent or grandparent, a parent who considered abortion, or as the son or daughter of parents who shared their abortion experience, you may feel alone or isolated, but you are far from it. You may feel trapped in the shadows of secrecy and shame, but you’ll find hope—and compassion—waiting in the light. No matter how you feel, if you have had an abortion yourself or if you have been impacted by one, I want to hear from you.”

Both Sides in the Abortion Battle See Changes Wrought by Coronavirus Pandemic ([link removed][UNIQID])
(Christian Broadcasting Network) “And Planned Parenthood’s Acting CEO Alexis McGill Johnson calls this ‘the silver lining of the pandemic,’” said Katie Glenn of Americans United for Life, an organization opposing these kinds of abortions. Glenn pointed out few doctors want to perform abortions, which puts abortion proponents in a bind. As Glenn put it, “If your position is abortion everywhere without delay, you’ve got to solve the problem of making that possible when most doctors won’t participate. And so what they’re seeking is you and a stranger who you’re talking to through your iPhone.”

Gracy Olmstead on pursuing the true goods of life and living with an attitude of stewardship and affection ([link removed][UNIQID])
(Life, Liberty, and Law) Conserving, encountering, or rekindling the true goods of life amidst uncertainty seems like just the common-sense thing to do. But what makes the “good life” good? And how might we strive to come through this moment in time to live in truly better and perhaps even a more humane way? Gracy Olmstead joins Tom Shakely and Noah Brandt on "Life, Liberty, and Law" to consider these questions and more. Gracy grew up in rural Idaho and now lives in Northern Virginia. Gracy is a wife and mother who writes on farming, localism, and family, and publishes the monthly newsletter Granola, on these themes and more. Gracy’s writing has appeared in many places, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The American Conservative, National Review, and Christianity Today.

Despite Lockdown, Planned Parenthood Opens New Illinois Clinic ([link removed][UNIQID])
(National Review) Despite the strict shutdown in Illinois, Pritzker’s stay-at-home order stipulated that “reproductive health care providers” were essential and should remain open. “Governor Pritzker reminds us every day in his press conferences that we are being confined to our homes so as to protect human life, yet a brand-new abortion clinic has been allowed to open,” Mary Kate Knorr, executive director of Illinois Right to Life, said in a statement. “Churches, schools, and businesses are closed but the nation’s largest killer of the unborn is expanding.”

New York Times Highlights President Trump's Support Among Young Pro-Life Voters ([link removed][UNIQID])
(Townhall) The elusive “youth vote” has been increasingly sought after for decades, and conventional wisdom says young people are generally more liberal than their parents. In some respects that’s true. But on at least one issue, the conventional wisdom keeps being proven wrong: the protection of innocent unborn life.
