It’s Giving Tuesday today—a global movement of giving back! I know there’s so much need and there are so many voices clamoring to be your priority today. So I’m deeply grateful that our email is one of the ones you opened.

When you choose to donate to Race Forward today, know that it isn’t just a donation—it’s teamwork. Our community of real, everyday people leads the charge on where the racial justice movement goes, and Race Forward is here to activate the necessary changes to build the just multiracial democracy we all desire. Together we can ensure fully-funded equitable public schools. We can reshape the institutions that impact communities of color. We can broaden the culture of understanding how racial equity is key to our safety and prosperity. We can re-vision housing and land justice. We can center community of color led environmental solutions. It’s all in our power.

We also know a hard truth: the coming months will prove challenging to our field and to the lives of Black people and all people of color. We know this. But what we know even deeper in our bones is that there is power and strength in coalitions. When we’re in it together, we can win. Race Forward, alongside educators, artists, young movement leaders, workers, mothers, and racial justice advocates, has power.
