New Match Announcement: $10,000
Deadline: Midnight, Tonight
Donate by midnight TONIGHT & your gift will be DOUBLED >>
Dear John – this year’s Giving Tuesday comes at a critical moment for protecting domestic workers’ safety and security, and John we’re going to get right to the point: can you donate $20 now, so we can be ready to endure and lead?
The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers.
John, we get that this is a scary reality to confront. But our community is about to enter some of the most tumultuous and consequential times for domestic workers, and we need to ask for your help to be ready to endure and lead.
Generations of domestic and care workers have paved the path we will follow. Their legacy of care has taught us how to stand together, hold each other up and press forward with the strength that generations of resilience have instilled in us.
We refuse to be caught flat-footed, that’s why our immediate priorities to minimize the harm to our community, to endure, and to lead are clear:
Hope is not lost amongst our community. We are ready to fight, to endure, and to lead as we face an uncertain reality that will have profound effects on our communities.
John: the most valuable thing you can do for domestic workers this Giving Tuesday is to give generously. Every dollar you donate will be DOUBLED today only, thanks to a matching contribution up to $10,000, so please don’t hold back. We have enormous challenges ahead, and every bit of your support will make a powerful difference.
This Giving Tuesday, as every day, thank you for all you do.
