Your support is coming at a critical moment. Donald Trump tried to destroy DACA just months into his first term, and the program has been caught up in the courts ever since. We’re still waiting on the latest decision from the fifth circuit, but with Donald Trump returning to office in the new year, we know DACA faces more tough battles ahead.
Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to support over 250 immigrant youth by fully funding their renewal costs, but in light of the election results, we set a goal to help 100 more DACA recipients by the end of the year.
That means raising another $55,500 this month. It’s going to take a big effort, but we’re confident this team will meet the magnitude of the moment.
The DACA Renewal Fund is currently closed to new recipients. We had too many folks on our waiting list and not enough funds to help them all. We can’t open it back up until we raise enough to clear our waitlist — and we won’t do that without a surge of support today.
