Tessa Garman
English Language Arts Teacher
Moorcroft Secondary, CCSD#1
She quickly responds to requests for volunteers to fill positions that address student needs. She serves on our JH MTSS team to identify at-risk students and adds accommodations to her class to ensure that struggling students succeed. Ms. Garman's smile radiates kindness as she builds solid relationships with her students and fellow staff members. She brings solutions to the table and is willing to implement strategies to support her students’ growth, which was evidenced by a 26.6% growth rate on WYTOPP assessments.
Ms. Garman is unassuming and considers the needs for chaperones, coaches, and other tasks that must be filled, ensuring students are given every opportunity. She quickly takes on extra tasks without complaining or seeking recognition. She is efficient in sending data to her superiors when requested and completes tasks as required.
"Tessa Garman edifies the whole child, as seen through the ongoing relationships she has built in junior high, which span throughout their high school years."
- Sherry Ewing, Assistant Principal, Moorcroft Elementary and Secondary School, CCSD #1
