Dear John,
Today is Giving Tuesday. After the events of the past month—really the past year—we could all use a day that is focused on some of humanity's best qualities: our generosity and care for one another.
This election hit us hard, and while we plan for the impact of these next four years, we know one thing: LGBTQ+ people and our communities will need resources to defend and advance protections in the places we call home.
We aren’t going to lie; it’s been a tough funding year for us and our partners. Yet the challenges we face in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, and reproductive freedom are more pressing than ever. Our state partners are gearing up for an even harsher legislative landscape, and we remain committed to supporting them for the long haul. We cannot do this without your support.
Make a gift today to help us reach our $2,000 goal and support LGBTQ+ folks in the states! [[link removed]]
Our 49 state partners and their combined 500+ employees have incredible power to create change, and you have the opportunity to make sure they have the support to make this work possible.
This year, we invested $385,000 into our partners’ work so they could defeat anti-LGBTQ+ bills, double down on HIV decriminalization efforts, and support their communities and staff through the impacts of harmful legislation.
Our team will keep working with state partners year-round to develop leadership, train staff, and ensure everyone in their community is ready for what’s to come in 2025. The turning point in the fight for LGBTQ+ liberation is still ahead, and you’re a major part of it.

Let's keep this momentum up in 2025.
