We recognize the widespread fear and uncertainty the people of DC are facing going into a second Trump administration, and we are ready to take action to protect our community. The first step in our plan to win is to provide our community with a safe space to process, build connections, and grow our power over the next four years and beyond; however, we need your help to offer such a space.

Having access to space at The Potter’s House will allow us to meet regularly in person, hold monthly art builds, and host events with our coalition partners. A home base is just what our hub needs to build power in the coming months so we can fight for a stable climate and protect the futures of young, black and brown, and working class DC-ers.

The Potter’s House is the perfect space for our hub, as they share our values of solidarity, justice, and care for the earth. They understand our work, are used to hosting community-centric events, and are equipped to provide us with the support we need to thrive. They also will put some of the rent we pay them toward programs in which they give food at no cost to those in need.
