During this time of uncertainty, strategies for both nonprofits and businesses in the community are changing drastically. This forum will utilize breakout sessions to dive deep into the different areas of change. Each room will be moderated by an industry professional, who will facilitate a discussion between both nonprofit and business attendees. The breakout room participants will brainstorm on their topic areas, and the Chamber will compile the list of all notes to distribute to attendees. REGISTER Governor Northam Delays Phase One of Forward Virginia Governor Northam has delayed Phase One of the Forward Virginia reopening plan for Northern Virginia, including Arlington, until at least Thursday, May 28 at 11:59 p.m. to allow more time to meet certain health metrics. Other regions across Virginia began Phase One on May 15. Responding to a request from local government, Governor Northam issued Executive Order Sixty-Two extending of the restrictions of Executive Orders Fifty-Three and Fifty-Five. To prepare for Phase One, the Commonwealth of Virginia has set up a Forward Virginia website with guidance.
