Thomas, pictured above, has competed with Special Olympics ever since joining our Young Athletes Program at age three. Over his impressive golfing career, he’s earned gold medals and competed at the national level, but his passion and talent for golf have gone beyond his own competitions. 

He is now working towards becoming a golf teacher and coach, and he hopes to guide and inspire the next generation of Special Olympics athletes – as an official member of the PGA!

“Part of moving forward in my career is joining the PGA program and learning how to become a teaching pro,” says Thomas. “Once I complete all three levels, I’ll be an official PGA member.”
