This Thursday, December 5, the Empire State Campaign for Child Care is organizing a call relay to Governor Hochul’s office, and we're getting the word out to make sure we have a strong, unified voice! We’re urging the Governor to sign three crucial bills - on presumptive eligibility, decoupling, and the minimum earnings requirement - into law before the year ends.
These bills are about ensuring that everyone, regardless of income, has access to the support they need to thrive. The Governor’s office tracks the volume of calls, so a coordinated day of calls will send a powerful message that we are demanding change.
