John, today is #GivingTuesday. And at the risk of sounding a little corny, I’m writing to you today about hope and tenacity.

Hope for a better, more just future is our most invaluable resource; it’s the battery that powers our court reform movement. And while you may have had moments these past few weeks where that hope faded — I know I have — I’m here to tell you it’s alive and we're all in on this fight for 2025 and beyond.

So this #GivingTuesday, we need your help to give the gift of hope — hope for a judiciary free from corruption and right-wing influence, and with justices that work for all of us. Will you support our work to make that a reality?

I know you’re getting a ton of emails today, so I’ll keep this brief.

Amidst the post-election confusion, disappointment, and fear, our team at Take Back the Court is forging ahead with our work to rein in this off-the-rails Supreme Court. It’s an uphill battle — but it’s one we’re determined to win. And we need your help to keep us charged up and going.

For four years of President Biden’s administration, the right-wing Supreme Court supermajority has served as Donald Trump’s and the Republican Party’s legal arm. And if history has taught us anything, it’s that soon, we may see Trump and his MAGA justices colluding even more openly and brazenly.

That’s why pushing back against the MAGA justices' attacks on our rights, freedoms, and democratic institutions is more important than ever. Will you support our continued effort to call out the Trump Court’s corruption, expose far-right influence on the MAGA justices, and build support for fundamentally restructuring our judiciary?

The problems we’re facing are big, and the way we respond to them will determine our country’s future. So we can’t shy away from big, structural solutions. We have to be tenacious — and fight for the right path forward, not just the most convenient one.
