Dear Reader,
Today is Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity, and we invite you to join us in making a difference. At Ballotpedia, our “One Big Thing” is closing the ballot information gap—ensuring that every voter across the U.S. has access to the comprehensive, nonpartisan information they need to confidently cast their vote.
A key part of achieving this mission is our Ballotpedia Fellows Program. Our Fellows play an essential role in our efforts by conducting the vital research that allows us to provide robust profiles of the candidates appearing on voters’ ballots.
In just four years, Ballotpedia Fellows have:
-
Researched nearly 26,000 candidates, gathering key details like contact information, campaign websites, and social media profiles to ensure voters have access to complete candidate information.
-
Contributed the equivalent to six full-time staff members.
This year we launched our Trusted Researcher position, many of which are Fellows who continue volunteering with Ballotpedia after the completion of their cohort. So far, we have 55 Trusted Researchers!
At Ballotpedia, we believe that every voter should have easy access to reliable, nonpartisan information—without the need to scour multiple sources. Thanks to the tireless work of our Fellows, this crucial information is readily available on Ballotpedia.org.
This Giving Tuesday, we ask for your support to continue this important work.
Your contribution will directly help these dedicated students and ensure that voters everywhere can make informed decisions at the polls.
Thank you for your generosity!
Sincerely,
Andrew Heath
Director of External Relations
