Dear John,

You’ve heard from me that conservatives have broken the progressive trifecta in the Minnesota State Government. Since today is Giving Tuesday, when families across the country think about charitable giving with an eye towards the future, I want to talk in more detail what this means for 2025 and beyond. The first thing to note? The progressive left will no longer be able to push through whatever they want over the objections of a united pro-family block of representatives! This is wonderful news for you, me, and all like-minded Minnesotans.

The last two years were a time of testing and persecution because of the values we fight for, and some of the legislation passed by the far left truly evokes sorrow in us for the sake of the unborn, children, and parents who will be harmed.

But we were never abandoned by the Lord. The strength of the Lord sustained us, and the joy of the Lord erupted in us as we saw election returns late on November 5th and into the next morning. I know you are rejoicing with us!

Let me also be clear that this wouldn’t have happened without you, John. The next chapter won’t be possible without you either. We have to press our advantage and capitalize on the clear message sent by the electorate across our country.

A few of our top donors agree, which is why they’ve created a $100,000 year-end matching challenge.

From now through January 1st, your gift of $25 is worth $50. Your donation of $50 means $100 in support of family values in Minnesota, and your most generous contribution of $100 becomes $200 because of the matching gift.

We spent more this year than on any previous election because it was so important to end the progressive left’s destructive trifecta. We played significant offense and defense with our investment of time, manpower and money, distributing voter guides, knocking on doors (with our army of volunteers), calling targeted voters, running ads and putting up billboards. Here are the results to date:

7 - House seats successfully defended in key swing districts (these seats had either pro-life incumbents or were open seats that had previously been held by a pro-life legislator). Several of these can be considered major upsets!

3 - House seats flipped to a pro-family, pro-life representative (in districts 18A, 7B and 26A). A fourth seat is still in play, as conservative candidate Aaron Paul is trailing by just 14 votes (.06%) to his far-left opponent, with a mandatory recount underway.

We did all this despite Minnesota voting blue once again at the top of the ballot.

However, when it came to the national elections and many state-wide offices, Minnesota was once again the outlier. Voters rejected the far-left policies of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz (more about him in a minute) to a stunning degree that left pundits in the mainstream media crying into their handkerchiefs.

Let’s pray for President-Elect Trump, that he will vigorously defend the unborn, families, and children – especially girls and young women who are being harmed by radical transgender ideology.

Just as importantly, we have a new pro-life majority in the U.S. Senate (53-47, with four seats flipped), and we have maintained a pro-life majority in the U.S. House as well. Now that’s a trifecta we can get behind!

Not only did a pro-life candidate win the popular vote for the first time in 20 years, but we had amendments creating a constitutional right to abortion defeated in three states: Florida, Nebraska, and South Dakota. These are the first statewide pro-life victories since the groundbreaking Dobbs decision returned abortion law to the states two years ago.

In short, there’s so much to be thankful for … but our work isn’t finished. One of our ministry friends said this week that conservatives often fail to turn short-term victory into long-term victory because we go on vacation. We don’t press our advantage by turning right away to the next battle.

I don’t want to make that mistake, which is why this is not just a recap but a rallying cry. We need to rebuild the war chest for the upcoming legislative session and, yes, the next election too.

The work begins now for 2026, when we have an opportunity to flip the Minnesota Senate (the DFL has the narrowest majority possible: 34-33) and take back the Governor’s Mansion. While Tim Walz has won comfortably the last two times he’s run, he’s damaged goods now. He was part of the losing ticket, and many in his party believe his extremist record in Minnesota is a big part of the reason they lost.

Time will tell if he’s effectively a lame duck governor for the next two years. In any case, the shine has worn off, and there’s a real opportunity. Let’s not squander it!

Please use the Donate links in this email to have your year-end gift doubled, thanks to our $100,000 Matching Challenge, which will help us press our advantage into a hopeful new year! Thank you and God bless you!
