Campaign for National Parks
Donations doubled for 1 week only

FIGHTING FOR A WILDER FUTURE

This year we’ve been celebrating 75 years of National Parks. This truly visionary and hard-won legislation has created landscapes which capture the imagination, provided adventures for all ages and protected the countryside for nature against uncontrolled developments.

But what about the next 75 years and beyond? The vision for National Parks holds true but the challenges they face are radically different. We're fighting for a wilder future for National Parks, a future where National Parks have new laws, better funding and resources and are accessible for everyone.

For 1 week only your donation will be doubled at no extra cost to you. Will you help us reach our target of £15,000 for nature?

NOTES FROM NATURE

For too long governments have seen National Parks as unimportant and unvaluable. Slashed budgets, record high levels of pollution and restricting access have taken their toll; nature has had enough.

Beaver
My home is polluted; it’s time to give a dam.
Butterfly
70% to 80% of my peatland home is in poor condition, that means less butterfly more butter-bye.
Red squirrel
It could take up to 235 years for some National Parks to meet national tree coverage targets, that’s nuts!
Owl
Being a bird of prey isn’t always a hoot, we're persecuted in our upland homes.

The reality is that nature doesn’t have a voice when it comes to legal protections and resourcing nature recovery. By challenging those in power to better protect and enhance National Parks we’re speaking up for nature, you can speak up too by doubling your donation today.

BE A VOICE FOR NATURE
Polluted water / clean chalk stream

What will our National Parks look like in 2099? Will there be verdant woodlands, buzzing wildflower meadows, resilient peatland and clean rivers? Decisions we make today and opportunities we miss will impact the continued legacy of National Parks. With further cuts to National Park budgets on the horizon we must work even harder to secure new laws, fight for better funding and ensure National Parks are accessible for everyone.

Any donations made this week will be doubled, £1 will become £2, £5 will become £10, £50 will become £100. Every little helps in securing a wilder future for National Parks.
