GivingTuesday is here. It's such an important day as we push forward our critical work to end Alzheimer's disease. I hope you will make today the day you join this fight by donating to our $400,000 GivingTuesday 3X Match now.
GivingTuesday may just be one day on the calendar, but it is a pivotal day in our fight. That's because — until midnight tonight — your generous first gift can go 3X as far to fuel our 365-days-a-year-work to:
Provide essential care and support resources like our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900), ALZNavigator™ and ALZ Connected®.
Advance critical research, so we can learn more about this fatal disease and find newer, more accurate and less-invasive ways to diagnose, treat and, ultimately, cure Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
Strengthen our efforts to make Alzheimer's a national priority through our advocacy work at the federal and state levels.
Because you care about supporting the fight against Alzheimer's, I believe you understand the enormous difference this triple-match opportunity can have on our work.
When you give today, you can join actress Ashley Williams, who's supporting us this GivingTuesday.
Ashley and her family knew something was wrong when her mom, Linda, began to struggle with language and communication. In 2005, Linda was diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia, a form of frontotemporal dementia. She lived with the disease for the next eleven years, and Ashley regularly helped care for her mom — often at the expense of her own well-being.
"The Alzheimer's Association was a tremendous source of support for my family when my mom received her Alzheimer's diagnosis," Ashley said.
"Working with the Association has provided me with a great opportunity to raise awareness of Alzheimer's and help support other families going through this heartbreaking disease."
If everyone who reads this makes their first gift of $30 today, we will meet our GivingTuesday 3X match goal and help millions impacted by Alzheimer's disease.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
