• When IPA research showed that charging even small fees for insecticide-treated bednets for malaria prevention significantly reduced their use, it led to widespread free distribution programs that have protected millions of individuals and families.
• Our research helped dispel a common belief in development: that giving money directly to people living in poverty would be wasteful. The evidence proved otherwise, leading governments and organizations worldwide to embrace cash transfers as an effective policy, spurring millions of additional dollars to cash transfer programs and creating a standard of comparison for other programs.
• IPA and partners have conducted extensive research demonstrating that grouping students by learning level rather than age or grade significantly improves student attendance, enrollment, and test scores, improving outcomes for children in many countries around the world.
• School-based deworming programs, backed by IPA research, have expanded across continents, dramatically improving children's health and school attendance and increasing earnings 20 years later.

Every dollar invested in IPA multiplies many times over and improves lives. Based on a conservative estimate, our evidence-backed solutions have transformed the lives of over 300 million people around the world.
