Hi Friends!

Last week was a good week for phone banking! We reached out to over 5000 members of the community last week to talk about Shaniyat and build excitement for the June 23rd election!

We were so happy to have over 50 members of our community join us for the first time in making phone calls last week. That is incredible. We are extremely happy that you all joined us!

This week we are changing up things a bit. We recently have started our text banking program, where we now can do voter outreach to residents by sending messages directly to them! We are changing our phone banking schedules to wednesdays with Shaniyat, and during the weekends. Text banking will be occurring every day, and will be a team wide effort.

We’re only one month away from election day. It's essential that we are reaching out to our community to get Shaniyat’s name out. This is the only way we can be sure that residents of New York’s 5^th Congressional district have access to crucial information about our campaign. It has been extremely helpful so far that we have been able to connect with so many members of the community.

Since our campaign is now a digitally focused campaign, the best thing we can do to be sure we get the information into residents’ hands is to reach out by calling and texting them! We were extremely successful as a movement so far, reaching thousands of families and sharing messaging about Shaniyat and his mission for New York’s 5th Congressional District.

If we are going to win this, then we need to do it TOGETHER!
