Hi there —
The United States Postal Service could run out of money in just a few months if Donald Trump refuses to authorize emergency relief. If that happens, our country’s postal system could collapse.
A crumbling postal service could mean job losses and wage cuts for postal workers across from coast to coast, reduced services to rural areas, and a dramatic impact on our elections as COVID-19 pushes us toward vote by mail.
Letter carriers and postal workers are on the front lines, putting themselves at risk to keep us connected, supplied, and safe. It’s absolutely critical that we keep the USPS and all of its workers functioning smoothly and safely through this crisis and through the November election.
Thank you,
Team Maggie
