Dear John,
I've got good news and bad news…
But first, I want to thank you for being one of our best supporters.
It was a busy month -- we had briefs due in multiple cases and our team spent scores of hours preparing for mediation in our COVID vaccine religious liberty case and the appeal in Rev. Patrick Mahoney's free speech case.
You make this work possible, John, and I want you to know how grateful we are to have you on our side.
That's why I'm thrilled to share the good news that the Center for American Liberty is making a huge impact!
The week before Thanksgiving, our Director of Litigation Josh Dixon had the rare opportunity to argue our amicus position at the oral arguments for the appeal of Platkin v. Middletown Township Board of Education…
…in defense of a school district's commonsense parental notification policy.
New Jersey's leftwing Attorney General is suing a local school district for passing a policy requiring staff to inform parents if their child changes their gender identity at school.
Josh received applause from the crowd in the courtroom; he did a terrific job advocating for parental rights.
Unfortunately, that brings me to the bad news.
Despite thousands of patriots stepping forward with generous donations, we came up short of our November goal toward bringing on a new attorney.
This is an unfortunate set back, but with end of year -- and a special announcement -- coming soon, I'm still confident we'll soon reach our goal of bringing on another full-time attorney.
Of course, that depends on whether we can continue on your support in December.
December 2024 must be our biggest month EVER. So, I pray you'll stand with us again by making a generous gift this month. Thank you again for your friendship and support.
