Under 10 percent goes to the county services with just over 10 percent designated for roads; about 30 percent for state education; 30 percent for local schools; 15 percent for fire districts; and about 5 pecent for other services. An overview of the county's 2025 budget at Central Kitsap community meeting Dec. 4

Kitsap residents and business owners are invited to attend the Dec. 4 meeting of the Central Kitsap Community Council for a discussion focused on Kitsap County's proposed 2025 budget. [ [link removed] ] Administrative Services Director Amber Dunwiddie provides an overview and there will be time for questions. The meeting takes place 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue Headquarters, located at 5300 NW Newberry Hill Road. [ [link removed] ]

The CKCC meeting also features committee reports on planning for a community center and focusing on the Silverdale Regional Center Subarea Plan in 2025. There are also community announcements and opportunities for public comment.
